Oakley radars...

Well today started off much like any other day... at 6am. its killing me. Anyways, so i did the usual: have breakfast, check emails... write yesterday's blog...then it was about 7am when the boys rocked up ready to go for a ride. The rest of the girls were still in bed as we weren't expected to go riding until 8am...So yeh then got ready for our ride. pretty impressed, left the house at 7:15. On the schedule today was 100km and 5x3km efforts.. was always gonna be a long day. We headed over to the velodrome to do the efforts on the crit course. Those efforts were so intense it was pretty crazy. Never felt so sick in my life. I was so lactic that my legs wouldn't stop shaking! thats never happened to me before... obviously don't train hard enough lol. After the efforts we headed to the track to do our 'media interview'. we cruised around the track on our road bikes pretending to sprint and generally acting stupid...I also got interview (because i'm captain for the girls haha) along with Rick and Tom richards (captain for the team/boys). Pretty sure i made an idiot of myself, saying things like 'chillin' and 'awesome/great/unreal'... poor people probably had no idea what i was going on about! It was meant to be aired at 6:00pm tonight and we got someone to tape it, so hopefully they did and i can laugh at it haha.. or die of embarassement, either way.
After the track session, we finished off our k's and then headed home. Had some lunch and then the girls all played our M&M monopoly which was pretty funny haha... then had to take my bike to the bike shop to get the front derailler adjusted and Pat had to get his gear cables replaced. Audrey and Rick had gone out so we had no choice to ride our bikes over there and they said that they would take 3hours to fix them... so we hung around for a little bit.. which was alright, gave me a chance to check out some awesomely cool oakley radars (white frame with pink lense).. tryed them on... think i might get them.. wasn't 100% convinced.. but for $175 they are worth it and now that i'm thinking about them i realise how much i actually want them hahaha.. should have bought them. dammit. Oh well, they'll be there when I get back from Fitchburg (hopefully).
After a while we finally got a hold of Rick who picked us up and the bikes were all sorted. Then came home, chatted to the coach, went out to dinner and the had milky way ice cream from pop's (awesomely cool ice creamery...i love ice cream. if you can't already tell).
So that's it. my day in a nutshell. Tomorrow we head off at 7am for Fitchburg, our 4 day marathon tour. not sure what the internet is going to be like so might not have any posts for a while but will upload them as soon as i get back (sunday night).

Hope all is well,
Take care
xo
